This experimental short dance film in collaboration with Linda Belans and Shirin Maleki is a meditation on memory – real, imagined, assumed – and the power and the weight of what is passed down to us by our forebears. Murmurs premiered with whose eyes i have – an installation by mother, daughter, and son through their respective disciplines – drawn on archival and personal histories of their maternal and paternal roots in Ukraine, Russia, Romania, and the United States.
